Journal of Clinical Bioinformatics is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal publishing original research on all aspects of the development of bioinformatics approaches, including tools, methodologies and data integration, for clinical and translational medicine.
JCBi aims to elucidate how biological and medical information can be applied to the development of personalized healthcare, medication and therapies. JCBi is a forum for the translation of bioinformatics and computational methods into clinical and medical applications, as well as the advancement of our understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms of diseases.

Call for papers
Following the launch of the Pulmonary bioinformatics article series, JCBi is also now accepting submissions on the new series on Biomarkers in human disease. The call for papers highlights the key topics for the series and introduces the series co-Editors.
JCBi is also accepting submissions as part of an article collection on Cancer bioinformatics: Bioinformatic methods, network biomarkers and precision medicine. Jointly published across BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Cancer, Genome Medicine and Journal of Clinical Bioinformatics, submissions will be welcomed until 1st November 2012. Please see the call for papers for details including how to submit.
Society information
The International Society for Translational Medicine (ISTM) invite all JCBi scientists to become society members.
The International Society for Translational Medicine (ISTM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to communication and cross-fertilization among clinicians and researchers from all science fields with an interest in translational medicine. ISTM provides a platform to bring together clinicians, scientists and researchers from all biomedical fields, as well as providing a forum for interdisciplinary exchange of current knowledge and concepts on translational medicine through the society’s membership, professional development programs and conferences. ISTM accelerates the development and clinical application of new therapeutic strategies and diagnostic tools.
ISTM promotes the interaction and co-operation among physicians, scientists, researchers, policy makers, investors, business developers in academics, industries, funding agencies and governments. ISTM also provides professional recognition for engagement in translational medicine and promotes outstanding and innovative studies in the field of translational medicine. ISTM mainly focuses on cellular & molecular medicine, applied immunology, molecular imaging, regenerative medicine, drug discovery and development, biomaterials & clinical application, neurosciences, omics science, and oncology.
